HISTORY
Farmers Implement & Irrigation is a family owned business serving Brookings and Watertown area farmers. The business is owned by David Gullickson. David Gullickson started working at Osvog Implement on a part-time basis at the parts counter in 1972. This was the beginning of his career dedicated to serving the local area farmers. Osvog Implement was incorporated in September 1976 as Farmers Implement & Irrigation, and David joined Farmers Implement & Irrigation full-time as a sales person. In 1980, David became a partner in the business and added the Valley Irrigation product line. In 1997, David became the sole owner of Farmers Implement & Irrigation. In December 2013, David's children, Jeff Gullickson and Michele Lewandowski, joined their father to create a family operated business. In April 2018, the family business expanded by adding the Watertown location. David continues doing what he loves, serving the local area farmer.

Vern Lovre purchased dealership, renamed to Lovre Motors & Implements and moved to 308 6th Street
Lovre moved dealership to South Main Ave. - added New Holland hay equipment
Homer Osvog purchased dealership and renamed to Osvog Implement
David Gullickson joined Osvog Implement part-time in parts
Homer moved Osvog Implement 1/2 block south to 1009 Main Ave. S.
Dave Ihnen & Harlan Ihnen purchased Osvog Implement
Dave Ihnen & Harlan incorporated the dealership as Farmers Implement & Irrigation
David Gullickson becomes Full-time sales person
Ihnens moved Farmers Implement & Irrigation to 3023 E. Hwy 14 Bypass
Farmers Implement & Irrigation becomes a Valley Irrigation Dealer
David Gullickson becomes partner of Farmers implement & Irrigation
David Gullickson and John Crabtree purchase Farmers Implement & Irrigation
David Gullickson becomes sole owner of Farmers Implement & Irrigation
Two of David's children, Jeff Gullickson and Michele Lewandowski joined their father at the dealership
Added second location in Watertown, SD
